Accreditation
Credit Weighting (ECTS / NFQ)
Credits measure the volume of learning. In Ireland, ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits are standard at higher education level: one credit equals roughly 20–25 hours of learner effort. The NFQ (National Framework of Qualifications) maps these credits to levels 1–10, helping you compare courses across providers.
Blended Learning
A delivery model combining face-to-face instruction with online components. Blended learning suits learners who want flexibility without losing the structure of classroom interaction. The ratio varies — some courses are 80% online, others 50/50.
RPL — Recognition of Prior Learning

Continuous Assessment vs Terminal Examination

Capstone Project
